How long does a shampoo bar last?
A well-drained shampoo bar typically outlasts two to three bottles of liquid shampoo - around 50 to 70 washes depending on hair length. Store it on a soap saver or dish between uses so it dries fully, and it'll last even longer.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Our bars are made with gentle, skin-kind ingredients and without harsh detergents. As with any new product, we recommend a small patch test first if your skin is easily irritated, and checking the full ingredients list on each product page.
Is everything really handmade?
Yes - every product is made by hand in small batches at our workshop in Banff, Scotland. We pour, cut, cure and wrap everything ourselves, which is why some products are occasionally out of stock while the next batch cures.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Completely. Nothing we make is tested on animals, and we choose suppliers who hold the same standard.
