About The Schmoo

The Schmoo is a family-run business situated in the heart of Banffshire. Tucked away in a small croft, we create and produce beautiful handmade soaps, natural bath products, and home fragrancing items designed to bring a touch of luxury to your everyday routine.

At The Schmoo, we work with a cosmetic chemist to ensure all our bath and body care products meet current legislation in the United Kingdom. Each of our skincare and fragrance products is listed on the UK cosmetic portal, in accordance with government guidelines. We are also proud members of the Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers Guild.

Sustainability is at the core of our business. We use eco-friendly ingredients and strive to keep our packaging as sustainable as possible. All our packaging is either recycled or recyclable, and we do not purchase non-recyclable materials. Additionally, we recycle all packaging we receive, and we encourage you to do the same with the packaging your order arrives in.
